3. Environmental Management System of KALD
・Feature of the system
　１）To establish a way of reaching our target on environment conservation based on environmental assessment
　２）To demonstrate that KALD's environmental conservation activity is in accordance with the international standard, ISO 14001
　３）To appeal to the region in which KALD is certified by ISO14001.
　４）To promote awareness in project-related personnel of environmental problems through EMS

・Environmental Policy
In EMS, the executives (the president in the case of KALD) have drawn up an environmental policy which is open to public as an announcement to promise environmental conservation.
The environmental policy includes the following three promises as well as the environmental condition where the organization exists, relation to the environment, ways of thinking about the environment and future direction.

　　１）Continuously improve environmental activity of our organization through EMS.
　　２）Take countermeasures to prevent environmental pollution
　　３） Conform to laws, codes and other requirements on the environment

KALD operates EMS, under which the environmental policy was publicized in August 1999 and revised in part in April 2002.
