Fifth Anniversary Commemorative Event of the 2nd-Phase Construction Project of Kansai International Airport Tenth Anniversary Commemorative Event of Kansai International Airport "Let's Make an Airport Island Together" was held |

| The event customarily held every year "Let's Make an Airport Island Together" was held on August 28 in line with the "Kansai International Airport Summer Festival." There were held various events taking advantage of spacious area of the 2nd-phase airport island such as the "Walking on runway" to walk 4,000 meters runway to be built in the future as well as a game to delineate the jumbo jet at a full scale with sand in addition to the well-reputed cruising around the island. Although the influence of typhoon was apprehended, about 6,600 people participated in the event enjoying happy time in summer vacation and experiencing the vast space of the 2nd-phase airport. | ||||||||||
