An environment monitoring plan has been mapped
out in cooperation with the governor of Osaka and the
mayors of the 9 cities and 4 towns of the area in order to grasp the
influence of the work of phase 2 onto the environment, to prevent
deterioration of the environment by taking suitable measures as required,
and to check for problems in regard to environment protection by comparison
with environment protection targets.
This plan is used as the basis
for environment monitoring.
