The ships traffic information system
The Workships Information Service Center could detect smaller vessels using a 14GHz band radar with higher sensitivity and resolution than standard shipping radar. Radar video processing equipment allowed the Center’s radar screens to also display target sizes, directions of movement and speed vectors. |
